6 Volt 7 Amp Battery that fits under the green Peg Perego top cover. The battery will say DMU6-8 on the side and is sometimes referred to as the "IAKB0508 Slim" battery.
The original IAKB0509 battery has been discontinued and the part number has been "recycled" and is now used to describe the smaller 6V 4.5Ah batteries.The old IAKB0509 is a 6V 7Ah Peg Perego battery. It sometimes is referred to as the "IAKB0508 Slim" as it is the same length and height but is nearly half the width in size. We are replacing only the battery under the green top. You will need to reuse the green top and wire harness.
